Supporting Women Through Every Stage of Adulthood

Women often find themselves balancing many roles, including student, professional, partner, wife, mother, daughter, caregiver, and friend, while trying to meet the expectations of others and the high expectations they place on themselves. Over time, carrying so much can leave you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself.

Whether you’re navigating college, building your career, preparing for marriage, adjusting to pregnancy or new motherhood, facing relationship challenges, or moving through another major life transition, you don’t have to face it alone.

As a women’s mental health therapist, I provide compassionate, evidence-based telehealth therapy for women throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported while developing practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and self-compassion.

College Students

The transition into adulthood can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. College and the years that follow often bring new responsibilities, changing relationships, academic pressure, career uncertainty, and questions about identity and purpose. While everyone around you may appear to have life figured out, many young women quietly struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, loneliness, or the pressure to meet impossibly high expectations.

Therapy provides a supportive space to slow down, gain perspective, and develop the confidence to navigate this important stage of life. Whether you’re adjusting to college, pursuing graduate school, starting your career, or simply trying to figure out who you are and where you’re headed, you don’t have to do it alone.

Career & Professional Life

Building a career can bring a sense of purpose and accomplishment, but it can also come with significant pressure. You may find yourself striving to prove your abilities, questioning whether you are doing enough, or trying to meet demanding expectations at work while also managing responsibilities at home. Over time, the constant push to perform can contribute to anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, or the feeling that there is never enough time or energy for the parts of life that matter most.

Therapy can help you better understand the patterns and expectations that keep you feeling overwhelmed. Together, we can work on setting healthier boundaries, managing workplace stress, navigating career decisions, and developing a more sustainable relationship with achievement. Whether you are beginning your career, pursuing advancement, returning to work, changing directions, or questioning what comes next, therapy can help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Relationships & Connection

Relationships can be one of life’s greatest sources of joy, but they can also be one of its greatest sources of stress. Whether you’re dating, engaged, married, navigating family dynamics, or working through the challenges of maintaining meaningful friendships, relationships often shape how we see ourselves and experience the world around us. Communication difficulties, changing expectations, conflict, or feelings of disconnection can leave you feeling hurt, uncertain, or alone.

Therapy offers a space to better understand your relationship patterns, strengthen communication, establish healthier boundaries, and navigate life’s transitions with greater confidence. Whether you’re preparing for marriage, adjusting to a new relationship, coping with the end of one, or simply wanting to build stronger, healthier connections, therapy can help you move toward relationships that feel more secure, authentic, and fulfilling.

Pregnancy, Postpartum, & Motherhood

Becoming a mother is one of life’s most meaningful transitions, but it can also be one of its most challenging. From the anticipation of pregnancy and the adjustment to postpartum life to the ongoing demands of raising children, motherhood often brings profound changes in identity, relationships, priorities, and emotional well-being. Many women find themselves carrying the weight of caring for everyone else while quietly wondering when they’ll have the chance to care for themselves.

You don’t have to navigate these changes alone. Therapy provides a compassionate space to process the emotional ups and downs of motherhood, manage anxiety and stress, strengthen self-compassion, and reconnect with the person you are beyond the many roles you fill. Whether you’re preparing to welcome your first child, adjusting to life with young children, balancing work and family, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the demands of motherhood, support is available.

Midlife & Life Transitions

Life rarely unfolds exactly as we expect. As the years pass, many women find themselves navigating significant transitions—children becoming more independent, aging parents needing care, changes in career or relationships, shifting priorities, or simply wondering, “What’s next for me?” Even positive changes can bring uncertainty, grief, or the feeling that you’ve spent so much time caring for others that you’ve lost touch with your own needs, goals, and identity.

Therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the person you are today. Together, we can explore life’s changes with curiosity and self-compassion, helping you navigate uncertainty, strengthen resilience, and move forward with renewed purpose. Whether you’re facing a major life transition or simply sensing that it’s time for a new chapter, therapy can help you create a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and authentically your own.
